Who Pays The Bill

After the recent COP26 meeting in Glasgow, there are many debates about our climate change dangers and how we, human beings, can help to reverse that process. Being in the UK, I listened to the radio station debate about paying for essential changes. The lady, whose name I have missed, unfortunately, was speaking about financial responsibility. She has conducted a survey asking people if they support the climate change action to save the planet. A significant number of people answered yes. But then, when she asked if they were willing to contribute financially. She was disappointed to report that most of the surveyed people said categorically no. She went on to gurn that it is unacceptable and we will pay one way or another. She advised getting used to the idea of donations of 10p for something, just like we do with the carrier bags in shops.

It was unfortunate that it was me listening and cursing throughout my journey back home. WTF? I mean, really?
